The line they still talk about

A custom 3D topographic sculpture of their home mountain, or the runs they still talk about. Built from a GPX, Strava, or Garmin file, for the skier you love or the day you want on the shelf. Resort runs, backcountry tours, and powder days are all possible.

What is a custom route map gift?

A custom route map gift is a 3D topographic sculpture of a real GPS track. For a skier, that track might be a resort run, a backcountry tour, or a powder day they still describe. Print My Routes reads a GPX from Strava, Garmin, or another GPS app and prints the terrain in PLA, so the line and the elevation stand up from the base.

It is the same sculpture we make from a run or a hike: a shelf piece you can hold. Engrave the run, the peak, or the date, and add an optional wood base so it arrives display-ready and gift-worthy out of the box. The workshop is in Salt Lake City, so a Wasatch resort line or a tour out of the valley is a natural track to print.

One finished piece, three settings

A finished resort sculpture, shown on a cabin shelf, set out for the holidays, and from above. Backcountry tours and powder days are ordered the same way.

How ordering a skier gift works

  1. Bring the line. Upload a GPX from Garmin, Strava, or another GPS app, or paste a Strava activity link. A resort lap, a backcountry tour, and a powder day all work the same way.
  2. Preview the terrain. The designer renders the track as a 3D topographic model. Rotate it and confirm it is the right day before you order.
  3. Make it theirs. Choose size, color, and optional engraving. Add a wood base if you want it display-ready the moment they unwrap it.
  4. We print and ship. The sculpture is 3D printed in PLA, inspected, and shipped. Most orders ship within 7–14 business days. Free standard shipping on orders over $100.

Questions

What is a custom route map gift for a skier?

A custom route map gift is a 3D topographic sculpture of a real GPS track. For a skier, that track might be a resort run, a backcountry tour, or a powder day. Print My Routes builds it from a GPX file or Strava activity and 3D prints the terrain in PLA, so the line and the elevation are a shelf piece you can hold.

How do I order a ski sculpture if I don't have their login?

Ask them for a GPX export from Garmin, Strava, or another GPS app, or paste a public Strava activity link in the designer at printmyroutes.com/custom. If you want them to pick the day, send a digital gift card — it arrives by email.

Can I use a Garmin or Strava ski activity?

Yes. The designer accepts GPX files from Garmin, Strava, and most GPS apps. You can also connect a Strava account and import an activity without downloading a file.

Does this work for a resort run, a backcountry tour, or a Wasatch day?

Yes. Any GPS track of the line works — a resort lap, a backcountry tour, or a day in the Wasatch. The workshop is in Salt Lake City, so Utah ski routes are a natural fit. The sculpture uses that track and real elevation data.

How long does a skier gift take to arrive?

Most sculptures ship within 7–14 business days. Standard, express, and international windows are listed on the shipping page. Custom orders include a few days of route processing before printing. For Christmas planning dates, see the holiday gift page.

What does a route sculpture cost?

Most sculptures fall between $40 and $120, depending on size and options such as engraving or a wood base. The designer shows the price before checkout. Standard shipping is free on orders over $100.

Can I add the run name or a date?

Yes. During design you can engrave a run, a peak, a date, or a short message on the base. A wood base is an optional upgrade that mounts the sculpture so it arrives ready to display.

Give them the line they skied

You already know which day it is. Upload the file, preview the terrain, and put that line somewhere they can hold.
